A Little Bit About Me

From Pittsburgh to Southern California to the country roads of West Virginia, I’ve lived many places but have always found my home in the arts.

My artistic education began when I was old enough to hold a paintbrush and snowballed from there. I grew up in a family of visual artists, but over time discovered that the variety of ways I could express myself and create was endless. From a young age, I practiced martial arts, embodying the phrase, “though she be but little, she is fierce.” I can also be found perfectly content twenty feet in the air (and upside down) after making my way into aerial arts, at many points in my teenage years seriously considering the idea of joining the circus. A classic rock fan and certified Beatle-maniac since I was a kid, my passion for music has grown with me through the years. I am and always have been an absolute dork with a deep love for learning, who will prattle for hours about Shakespeare and literature if allowed.

These days, my adventure has led me to New York City, where I have traded in my paintbrushes for a tattoo machine, and I am a proud AMDA student. My curiosity continues to lead me down a number of paths, each one helping me discover a new part of who I am, what excites and inspires me, and how I can use my passion to move and connect others. No matter where I am or what I’m doing, I will always be an artist: bringing myself wholly and openly to whatever project I take on, to tell stories and create as truthfully as I can.
